 The average life-span of a hard drive is 4-5 years. Is your computer older than that? Oops.
Of course some hard drives will last longer then that, but some will crash after 2-3 years. Not really impressive when compared to a several thousand years old papyrus, is it? But then papyrus is not the best medium to use for storing your iPod files, so there you go.
